In 1996, Jen Carmean and John Bergin were stationed at this location known at the time as "Shotsies Tattoo? West. Shotsie Gorman sold the shop to Jen in 2004 and "Monarch Tattoo" was born.
Monarch Tattoo studio is known for its quality and experienced artists as well as a pleasant and fun experience. if you have an idea (a rough sketch or reference from any source), bring it in and one of our artists will be glad to discuss it.
Although we are an appointment shop, we do walk-ins on a first come first serve basis.
Newcomers are always welcome.
Piercing by Matt Graham is done by appointment or on a first come first serve basis.
Important: Appointments must be made in person, not by email or myspace.
Cancelation or rescheduling must be be done by phone or in person.
